Description
Manuel Quesada has been crafting cigars since 1974. Initially, his cigars were mild-bodied, made with Dominican filler/binder and Connecticut-seed wrappers. His latest creations are bolder and more flavorful. The Casa Magna Colorado, created with Nicaragua’s top tobacco grower Nestor Plasencia at the Segovia Cigar factory, is his masterpiece. The cigars feature a robust Cuban-seed blend from Nicaragua’s Estelí and Jalapa regions, where Estelí tobacco is strong and Jalapa tobacco is balanced and refined.
Tasting notes:
This cigar blend features two Nicaraguan leaves that produce a rich, full-bodied taste with notes of coffee and a sweet cedar flavor with a touch of raisin. The “Colorado” brand name refers to the wrapper’s dark, reddish color.
