Description
The CLE 25th Anniversary cigar line made its debut in late 2020 and was produced by the CLE Cigar Company. Although the line is named for the 25th anniversary of the company, it actually celebrates the founder Christian Eiroa’s 25 years in the cigar industry. Eiroa started in the business in 1995 and was soon managing Caribe Imported Cigars, which included the Camacho brand. Under Eiroa’s leadership, Camacho became a dominant force in the 2000s. He later sold the brand to Davidoff in 2008, but eventually left to start his own company, CLE Cigar Company. In this article, we take a closer look at the 50 x 5 Robusto variety.
The CLE 25th Anniversary blend is made up of 100% Honduran tobacco, with the inclusion of Authentic Corojo in the recipe.
Tasting notes:
This blend features Honduran tobacco for the filler, binder, and wrapper, offering medium strength with flavors of roasted coffee, wood, chocolate, and hints of macadamia and caramel.
